Most of the recipients of the Medal of Bravery were miners and draegermen
offered veterans who would give up their pensions a cash lump sum and an opportunity to settle in the colonies
all set on a 175 mm-long magnetic metal bar with a horizontal pinback
with two holes immediately to the left of the patch where a badge once resided
worn on its original ribbon with second grade star device

In bronze gilt with white and purple enamels, maker marked "L. FASSINO TORINO" on the reverse, measuring 41 mm (w) x 44. 7 mm (h) inclusive of its integral ring, intact enamels, original ribbon, extremely fine.
