Germany, Heer. An M42 Steel Camouflage Helmet Auction Footnote: William Rupert Harris was(Heer M42 Stahlhelm). A Heer M42 steel helmet, constructed of magnetic molybdenum steel. The helmet retains traces of its original apple green paint. It features stamped air vents on each side, and also bears three rivets distributed around the circumference, securing in place the interior apparatus.
