An Early Army/Police Officer's Cap Badge C.1941 consisting of a blue enamelled Romanian Cross with clusters of nine gilt rays in eac a Letter from the AddressShield and wreath in die stamped aluminum, the shield with red and white enamelled fields, framed by a silvered wreath composed of branches of laurel leaves and oak leaves with acorns, on black felt, with an aluminum backer, measuring 52. 5 mm (w) x 60 mm (h), crazing and chipping evident in the white enamels in a few locations, better than very fine.
