Germany, Third Reich. A Badge For Fire Brigade Service, By The Prussian Mint Newly Listed in hallmarked 9Kt(Erinnerungszeichen Verdienste um das Feuerlschwesen). Instituted 21 December 1933 by Wilhelm Frick. (1934 1936 issue). Constructed of silver, the obverse with a central raised firefighter clutching a hose and blowing a horn, above a burning building, circumscribed by an inscription of FR VERDIENSTE UM DAS FEUERLSCHWESEN (FOR MERIT IN THE FIRE BRIGADE), with a mobile swastika at the bottom, the reverse with a vertical pinback, maker marked PREUSS.
