An extremely well preserved Heer Officers dress dagger, measuring 395 mm in total length when inserted into the scabbard. It features a 260 mm long polished magnetic steel blade with a sharpened tip and edges. Acid etched onto the obverse of the blade is an inscription of DAS UFFZ. KORPS. D. 7 J. R. 47 (THE NCO CORPS OF THE 7. KOMPANIE, INFANTERIE REGIMENT 47), while the reverse bears an inscription of HAMBG. D. 26.
