Chateau Lanessan, Cru Bourgeois Supérieur Haut Medoc 2019 20-40 supple and savory with quiteThe 2019 Lanessan has a ripe, upfront nose that is missing a bit of precision: plenty of liquorice notes coming through. The palate is better with sweet black fruit laced with black pepper and tobacco. The finish is nicely proportioned. I just need to see more delineation and terroir expression once in bottle. Tasted twice with consistent notes.
