In silver gilt, a white enamelled cross pattee with silver gilt interior border, the obverse medallion presents an embossed crown on a lightly pebbled Gold background, surrounded by a blue enamelled ring inscribed GOTT MIT UNS (God be with us), the reverse medallion presents the cypher WR, in a blue enamel surround inscribed DEN 18 OCTOBER 1861, measures 18. 10mm (w) x 20. 14mm
