The Lbeck Hanseatic Cross consists of a silver cross Patte, the obverse with red enamels on all four arms bearing a central gilded enameled medallion overlaid by the Lbeck coat of arms, the reverse bearing a central raised inscription reading Fr Verdienst im Kriege 1914
