A 1796 Light Cavalry Sabre certificate_of_authenticity horizontal pinback on the badgeFound in the 1980's in Niagara Falls, Ontario, this is an untouched "barn find" featuring a weathered appearance. The grip is grooved wood wrapped in black leather and retaining its wire braiding and supported by the correct iron single bar stirrup guard. The blade is solid, displaying blueing and gilt features until the blade's midway point where it becomes worn with 3 blade knocks, measures 84 cm in length. The sword is still carried in the original
