Germany, Third Reich. A Baden Singing Association Membership Pin, By Eugen Schmidhäussler United Republic of An extremely well-preserved Heer Gebirgsjäger(Badischer Sngerbund Mitgliedsabzeichen). Constructed of silvered bronze, the obverse consisting of a Baden national griffin clutching an instrument, above a raised inscription of BADISCHER SNGERBUND (BADEN SINGING ASSOCIATION), flanked by a swastika, the reverse maker marked SCHMIDHUSSLER, PFORZHEIM, retaining a period original ribbon backer, measuring 23 mm (w) x 20 mm (h) (exclusive of ribbon), in extremely fine condition.
