It is separated from the Rhine by the federal road, to the north it extends far up to the Hallgartener Jungfer, to the west it borders on the Oestricher Lenchen. Arable land and the Hattenheimer Schtzenhaus parcel limit the location to the east. The soil is a mixture of clay, stones, gravel terraces and primeval sandbars.
