Constructed of padded far grey wool, the obverse bearing a machine embroidered silver grey oval laurel and oak leaf wreath, joined together at the bottom by ribbon, overlaid by a swooping Luftwaffe eagle clutching a mobile swastika and executed in two tone silver grey threading, the reverse retaining a black oilcloth liner, unmarked, measuring 72 mm (w) x 65 mm (h), demonstrating some separation of the reverse
