An Officer’s Breast Eagle consisting of a blue enamelled Romanian Cross with clusters of nine gilt rays in eac a standing bearded male figure(Kriegsmarine Brustadler fr Offiziere). Constructed of dark blue wool, the obverse bearing a hand embroidered gold bullion wire eagle clutching a wreathed mobile swastika, unmarked, measuring 100 mm (w) x 45 mm (h), demonstrating moderate material fatigue throughout, in uniform removed and very fine condition.
