The Essex Scottish Regimental Departure Banner Archive he front of the capFabricated of painted heavy canvas, double sided, 57x32 inches, with rope weight at bottom, and original pine rod for hanging, colours remain bright, very fine. Footnote: In our opinion, this is likely a departure banner, once displayed in the city of Windsor, Ontario. The Essex Scottish suffered the most casualties of any Canadian regiment during the Second War.
