Constructed of bronze, the obverse bearing a raised depiction of the peak of the Wasserkuppe flanked by a glider in mid flight, situated above an inscription of RHN SEGELFLUG WETTBEWERB WASSERKUPPE 950M., also circumscribed by patriotic dedications, perforated on each side by an eyelet for rivet attachment, unmarked, measuring 7 cm (w) x 9. 5 cm (h), in extremely fine condition.
