A Polish Auschwitz Cross Hold 5 mm x 38 mmA Polish Auschwitz Cross Silvered bronze with red enamels, 42 mm, original ribbon, light contact, near extremely fine. Footnote: The Cross was instituted by order of the State Council (Rada Pastwa) on March 14, 1985 and awarded to former prisoners of Auschwitz and other Nazi concentration camps. It ceased to be awarded in 1999.
