In silver, obverse illustrating the right facing bust of King Christian X, inscribed "CHISTIANUS X" at the left and "REX DANI" at the right (Christian X King of the Danes), engraver marked "H. SALOMON.", reverse inscribed "PRO DANIA 1940 45" (For Denmark 1940 45) within an open ended wreath of oak leaves, the medal surmounted by the royal crown, measuring 31 mm (w) x 44. 3 mm (h), very
