(1906 1911 issue). Constructed of silver, on loop for suspension from its period original neck ribbon, the obverse with a finely detailed rightward facing profile of Duke Carl Eduard circumscribed by name and title, the reverse with a central Saxe Coburg and Gotha Coat of arms, flanked by lions rampant, topped by a royal crown an inscription of FUER VERDIENST (FOR MERIT),
