Constructed of silvered zink, the obverse consisting of a central square oak leaf wreath, topped by a Wehrmacht eagle clutching a mobile swastika, situated above a crossed bayonet and stick grenade, overlaying a magnetic metal backplate, flanked on each side by four rays and four oak leaves with two acorns, the reverse with an integral clip hinge and banjo style pinback meeting an integral catch, maker marked with the logo
