Bridgeport Bolts - Connecticut - Vintage Defunct Baseball Teams - Unisex T-Shirt Color:Navy Hotel Elwell in downtown LasBridgeport fielded a minor league club in the Eastern Association back in 1914, a single season that burned bright and brief. Connecticut's industrial cities lived and died with their ball teams in that era. The Bolts gave Bridgeport something to rally around when factory whistles blew and weeknights needed meaning.
