Footnote: Hans Schemm was a Gauleiter and important NSDAP leader at a township level. He was injured in an airplane crash in March 1935. Hitler personally sent a professor from Berlin to fly to Bayreuth, but Schemm passed on March 5th, before the professors arrival.
