Description

Macan was the name chosen for the wines produced by the joint venture of Bodegas Benjamin de Rothschild & Vega Sicilia

shows the texture we are looking for

ripe apple skins

It exhibits tremendous depth and fruit concentration from a stand out vintage along with rich notes of cassis coffee tobacco leaf and dark bitter chocolate

and planted on clay-limestone terraces with silica in the subsoil

Common Molly Barossa Valley Grenache godello Macan was the name chosenPlenty of fish in the sea, but Common Molly's a rare breed. A little bit of saddle leather on the nose and light tannins, but this is overall an indulgently fruit led (though beautifully balanced) Grenache. Jubey, dark cherries are the star of this well grounded wine. A sipper we could sit on all night long.
