A matching set of Waffen SS Reconnaissance Hauptsturmfhrer shoulder boards, each constructed of black wool with a rigid card stock core, trimmed with copper brown piping, topped by four bands of silver aluminum wire piping, and pinned with dual gilded zink pips, both unmarked and measuring 35 mm (w) x 120 mm (l), demonstrating minor material fatigue to the base material
