Swarthout, Gladys - Chapman, Frank - Double Signed Photograph Autographs Actors - Letter I-J-K unsigned unsigned CDV (carte-de-visite) byAmerican mezzo soprano and entertainer (1900 1969), famous for her interpretations of Carmen and her participation in several films, and her husband Frank Chapman, also an American opera singer (dates unknown), whom she met when they both performed at the American Opera Company in Chicago. Beautiful photograph shown as themselves, signed and inscribed by them; stamped on verso by photographer Alfredo Valente. Size is 7. 5 x 9. 5 inches, slight paper
