A cap constructed of field gray wool, with fold down side and back panels with gently sloping, downward scallops to the front, with metal eyelets on either sides, the front of the cap features a machine embroidered, Heer style eagle patch in brown cotton threads, mounted on matching tan woolen base, and an embroidered, national tri colour cockade in black, white, and red threads on a green background, both the eagle and the cockade are
