It does produce larger more colorful pitchers when kept on the cool side

All the other photos are from various truncata x lowii and lowii x truncata in our collection

We've done this cross using veitchii alone and they were all outstanding so we expect even more superlative peristomes with northiana in the mix

The patterning carries throughout the pitchers

we've found this plant to be a slow but steady grower that can be a bit reluctant to pitcher except for a few times a years

We can't guarantee germination since we have never grown this cross out but we have inspected all pods and they have obviously viable looking embryos. Nepenthes seeds are best sown on a layer of milled sphagnum moss or well leached coco peat above a more traditional Nepenthes mix. They should be kept in a moderately well lit area (50 100 ppfd). The seeds need to be kept wet and humid in the 60 80 temperature
