Aquilani Pinot Grigio barolo faintly strict at the end
Description
faintly strict at the end – and long for the label
This is a slightly cooler vineyard than Moss Wood and it seems that extra warmth in 2015 has really suited it
The older vines are all dry grown while the younger vines have access to irrigation which until recently was banned in Spain
We craft this wine to be a quintessential Heathcote Shiraz
the vintage had a good say with this year's explosive and exuberant release
Aquilani Pinot Grigio barolo faintly strict at the endPinot Grigio 100% grown in the high quality Friuli appellation sub regions of Udine and Pordenone in northern Italy. A bouquet that is vibrant and lifted, with intense notes of acacia flowers. The palate is crisp and dry, with lively acidity and a refreshing finish. This wonderfully zesty Pinot Grigio is an ideal match with fish and shellfish based dishes, poached white meats and poultry and vegetable entrees including risotto.
