In silver with ball finials, obverse centre in gilt with stylized royal cypher A, crowned on white enameled background, blue enamel surround with gilt laurels and Virtute motto, reverse centre in gilt with the inscriptions ""1292"" (the year that Adolf of Nassau Weilburg was crowned as King of the Romans) and ""1858"" (the year of creation of the order by Adolphe, Duke of Nassau), in gilt
