Saxe-Altenburg, Duchy. A Bravery Medal In Bronze With Miniature Archive and facsimile signature of Reichsmarschall(Tapferkeitsmedaille in Bronze mit Miniatur). Instituted 20 February 1915 by Duke Ernst II. (1915 1918 issue). Constructed of bronze, on loop for suspension from its period original ribbon, the obverse with a raised Cross Patte, overlaid by a Saxon coat of arms, flanked by a date of 1914, the reverse with a raised monogram of Duke Ernst II, unmarked, measuring 31. 13 mm in diameter, weighing 15. 5 grams, accompanied by its miniature, of identical
