A 1920-1940 Type 19 Kyū Guntō Japanese Army Officer’s Sword Hold after additional medical assessmentThis is an attractive Type 19 Ky Gunt Japanese Army Officers sword dating to 1920 1940; measuring 99. 2 cm with the scabbard on, this officers sword features a very well preserved 83 cm long nickel plated magnetic blade with a semi sharp tip. The blade is unmarked but exhibits a beautiful faux temper lines by the edge on both sides of the blade. The thin brown leather blade washer remains fully intact and attached to the sword.
