CAR-0308 is a complex cross with strong influence from lowii and campanulata

This particular grex uses our very squat female ampullaria "Purple Striped" clone (last photo) with a solid deep purple pitcher body and striped peristome and our male rafflesiana 'Thick Lip" which has purple pitchers with a pronounced lip

This species comes from the Barisan range in Sumatra where it grows sympatrically with other iconic Nepenthes species such as dubia and lingulata
