A Grand Cross Badge in silver gilt, consisting of a blue enamelled Anchor cross with clusters of rays in each quadrant, obverse centre featuring a blue border inscribed by AL MRITO CIVIL (To Civil Merit), with surmounted Imperial crown, suspending by a nicely enameled green laurel wreath also in silver gilt, the reverse plain with two rivets for the blue enamelled
