A German Eastern Front Medal & Document To Leutnant Roschmann Auction Archive First National Census Medal 1920Medal; German East Medal 1941 42 Silvered and blackened zinc, 36 mm x 40. 5 mm, light contact, very fine. Document; Issued August 1st, 1942 to a Leutnant of the 25th Panzer Grenadier Regiment, which was part of the 12th Panzer Division. In June 1941 the unit took part in Operation Barbarossa, and engaged in the battles of Minsk and Smolensk. It was present at the Battle of Kursk. At the end of the War it surrendered to the Red army in the Courland
