Constructed of silver, consisting of a vaulted Maltese Cross, the obverse with pebble arms joined through the quadrants by Luftwaffe eagles clutching mobile swastikas, bearing a central mobile swastika situated within dual rings, and with crossed swords piercing the centrepiece, the reverse with a block hinge and tapering vertical pinback meeting a round wire catch, maker marked with the logo of C. E. Juncker,
