In bronze, measuring 36. 5 mm in diameter, original ribbon with hook and eye, soldered ring, extremely fine. Footnote: The Victory Medal was established by Imperial Edict No. 406 on September 17, 1920, to be awarded to "military personnel who served with merit and zeal between August 23, 1914 and January 9, 1920." Roughly 700,000 were awarded.
