Constructed of silvered magnetic metal with multi coloured enamels, the obverse consisting of a white enameled oval medallion, bearing a black enameled Der Deutsche Automobil Club (D. D. A. C.) insignia in the form of a black enameled German national eagle clutching a black mobile swastika on a white and red enameled disc, overlaid across its chest by initials D. D. A. C, flanked by dual eyelets
