venosa is a compact American Pitcher Plant variety with a range from New Jersery south into Georgia
They have been referred to as the “Kew clones” since collection of Nepenthes rajah seed was done in collaboration with Kew Gardens who subsequently put them into tissue culture and distributed to nurseries around the world
It certainly could become a cornerstone to any breeding program and would likely pass on its extremely squat pitcher shape
It prefers wet
This species prefers warm temperatures and high humidity year round
