Mongolia, People's Republic. An Order Of The Polar Star, C.1975 Archive Seven button tunicInstituted in 1936. Type IV (1970 on). In silver with red, white, green, ultramarine blue and yellow enamels, number engraved "18236" on the reverse, measuring 47. 5 mm (w) x 54. 7 mm (h), horizontal pinback, intact enamels, light surface wear on the figures, extremely fine. Footnote: The Order of the Polar Star was instituted in 1936 and awarded for military services, and for strengthening the armed forces of the Republic.
