The band was led by singer Andrew Eldritch, who continues the band to this day as the only original member. They only ever recorded three albums. They actually disbanded after the release of their debut album, but Eldritch restarted the group in 1987 after a failed attempt at starting a new band called The Sisterhood and released their final records. Since then, they have remained
