One of the greatest of the 19th century, Sarasates music is still today regularly performed by top violinists. Wonderful cabinet photo by Reutlinger, Paris, showing him with the instrument, signed and inscribed by Sarasate and dated in 1898. Size is 4 x 5. 5 inches, in very good condition, very minor damage at the lower edge, otherwise in very good condition
