A Republican Air Force Captain Pilot's Flight Suit Badge consisting of a blue enamelled Romanian Cross with clusters of nine gilt rays in eac measuring 190 mm (w) xIn brass with red and black paint, with die stamped detail added to the wings, measuring 55 mm in diameter, with three die holes for flight suit attachment, obverse exhibiting scattered chipping and scuffing in the black paint, the reverse with spotting and oxidation discolouration present, better than very fine. Footnote: These badges were apparently worn in small amounts (when they could afford the production), late in the war, with the red star
