Handbag | Bilum | Mini Shopper | Jute Nanoblock the rhythm of ocean wavesThese Bilum are joyful works of art. The inspiring female artisans from Papua New Guinea weave each bag by hand using the ancient art form of bilum weaving. The natural fibres are sourced from surrounding vegetation including the Sisal and Pandanus plant, laboriously beaten, twisted into string and then woven. Weavers expertly utilise natural dyes made from plants, ochres and berries to enhance their patterns Details 24 x 20 cm x 26 cm strap length
