A Heer M31 canteen, constructed of a red painted magnetic metal shell, topped by a threaded post retaining a matching lid, the exterior lined with field grey wool which retains a leather carrying strap and harness with a functional magnetic metal clip, unmarked, measuring 15 cm (w) x 22 cm (h), also accompanied by a matching cup, constructed of black bakelite, measuring 7. 5 cm (w) x 7. 5 cm (h), demonstrating age
