Constructed of aluminum, vertical pinback, the obverse consisting of an oval oak leaf wreath, joined together at the bottom by ribbon, topped by a SA style German national eagle clutching a wreathed mobile swastika, with a central inscription of SA TREFFEN BRAUNSCHWEIG 17 18 OKTOBER 1931, measuring 36 mm (w) x 52 mm (h), the reverse with a Reichszeugmeisterei (RZM) logo and code M1 63 for maker Steinhauer & Lck,
