A Third Reich Period Ss/Sa Flag Bearer’s Gorget Archive Overall near extremely fine conditionThis is a third reich period gorget that was worn by SA and early SS flag bearers; constructed of nickel silver (non magnetic), with a centre applique consisting of a nickel plated roundel featuring a SA early SS belt buckle motif superimposed on gilded sun rays; with two decorated bosses on the left and right of the shield that reach through the shield and offer hooks for the suspension chain, along with a third supportive tab in the centre of the
