Legion Condor Air Force Pilot Badge, C.1940 Auction Footnote: Wilhelm Frick (March 12Five piece construction, gilt propeller fronting a silvered bronze eagle, with a sequin placed behind the eagle's head, on a red enamelled circle, mounted to a wings base in silvered bronze with a gilt Franco crown, unmarked, measuring 91. 5 mm (w) x 38. 3 mm (h), metal support plate with swing locking fixture secured to the lugs, intact enamels, scattered silvering wear, light contact overall, better than very fine.
