Tali Tali Sandhills - Ingrid Top Fabrics one of the original PapunyaThis Ingrid top is printed with Alice Nampitjinpa Dixon's design, which depicts Takupalangu, west of Kintore her father Uta Uta Tjangala's Country of rockholes (puli) and sandhills (tali). Takupalangu is a big swamp filled with bush vegetables called mungilpa. When Alice was a small girl she travelled this Country with her family, her mother collecting mungilpa and pummelling it into damper. Alice's Tjukurrpa is the porcupine Tjilkamala scurrying
