The resin is cast into hand fabricated metal form, and after a curing period of 24 hours, the resin is ground to a fine soap stone like finish. Pieces often require 2 or 3 separate casting processes. A silver and gold filled hand fabricated adjustable chain with easy to use lobster clasp is included with the pin for use as a necklace. Chain is 16 18"L or longer upon request
