A resin is weighed and mixed as a clear solution which is then pigmented. The resin is cast into hand fabricated metal forms. After a curing period of 24 hours, the resin is ground to a fine soap stone like finish and then carved. Pieces often require two or three separate casting processes. Pearls in these earrings are approx. 5mm.
