Duitse kikkervormige helm, 1.6 mm Schotse kilts en plaids de conflicten die waren ontstaanThe frog faced helmet is developed from the bascinet, that was worn underneath the great helmet. Because it was more practical to wear one instead of two helmets, the visor was attached to the bascinet from the 14th century on. The bascinet was expanded so that it protected the entire head including the neck. This replica is completely handmade and is suitable for a head circumference up to 63 cm.
